The Heimann Birtokbor is our calling card and it is a blend of our most typical varieties. The Birtokbor is a balanced, complex and exciting wine that also serves as a kind of prelude to our premium wines.

45% Cabernet Franc, 33% Merlot, 12% Syrah and 10% Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch in Hungarian). Most of the grapes come from the Batti Cross single-vineyard. Yield is 1,2-1,7 kg per vine. Fermented in large casks, cement vats and stainless steel tanks. Following the malolactic fermentation the wine was aged in predominantly 1000-liter oak barrels for 20 months. Estate bottled in the autumn of 2016.
